Last Updated: [September 2026] · Applicable to: www.mitovito.com
This Privacy Policy explains how Lumyrax Inc., operating www.mitovito.com (the "Company," "we," "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our site, create an account, or place an order. It applies to visitors and customers in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
Identity data: name
Contact data: email address, phone number, billing and shipping address
Order data: products purchased, order history, and related correspondence
Account data, if you create one: login credentials
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted checkout page; your card information is provided directly to Stripe and never passes through our servers. See Section 6 below.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, general location (city/region level)
Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referral source, and on-site interactions, collected through our own website analytics and the advertising technologies described in Section 3
2. How We Use Information
To process, fulfill, and communicate about your orders
To operate, secure, and improve the site
To respond to customer service, warranty, and return inquiries
To measure and improve our advertising performance
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse
To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
3. Cookies and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies, described in full in our Cookie Policy, which forms part of this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are only activated after you provide consent through our cookie preference tool, available on the site.
We currently use the following advertising technologies:
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — helps us measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site
Google Ads tracking — helps us measure ad performance and show relevant ads across Google's network
These tools share certain browsing data (such as pages viewed and general device information) with Meta and Google for advertising purposes. Under California law, this activity may be considered a "share" of personal information even though no money changes hands. See Section 9 for how to opt out.
4. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We share information with:
Stripe, our payment processor, to complete your transaction
Shipping carriers (USPS, Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, FedEx), to deliver your order
Meta and Google, for the advertising purposes described in Section 3
Government or regulatory authorities, where required by law
A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Payment Processing
Checkout on mitovito.com redirects you to a secure, Stripe-hosted payment page. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see, receive, or store your full card number, expiration date, or security code. Stripe's own privacy practices govern the information you provide directly to them during checkout.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
7. International Data Transfers
Personal information may be processed or stored outside of Canada, including in the United States, where our service providers (including Stripe, Meta, and Google) operate. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
8. Your Privacy Rights (Canada)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Withdraw consent for optional uses, such as marketing, at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@mitovito.com.
9. Additional Rights for Quebec Residents
Because Lumyrax Inc. is domiciled in Quebec, we are also subject to Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector ("Law 25"). In addition to the rights above, Quebec residents have the right to:
Request that we cease disseminating their personal information or de-index a link, where legally applicable
Request the portability of their personal information in a structured, commonly used format
Be informed of the existence of any decision based exclusively on automated processing of their personal information, and to have such a decision explained on request
Privacy inquiries and complaints for Quebec residents may be directed to hello@mitovito.com. Complaints that remain unresolved may be brought to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
10. Additional Rights for California Residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) gives you the following rights:
Right to Know. You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.
Right to Delete. You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
Right to Correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. As disclosed in Section 3, our use of the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tracking may constitute a "share" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, even though we do not sell information for money. You may opt out of this sharing at any time using our cookie preference tool, or by sending an opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) through your browser, which we will honor.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA in the ordinary course of operating this site.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
Categories of Personal Information Collected (in the preceding 12 months): Identifiers (name, email, IP address); commercial information (order history); internet or network activity (browsing behavior, collected via cookies and pixels); geolocation data (approximate, city/region level).
How to Exercise These Rights. Email hello@mitovito.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will verify your request using the information associated with your order or account, and respond within the timeframe required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
11. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Do Not Track
This site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in Section 10. You may also manage tracking preferences through our cookie consent tool.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a revised version with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted where required by law.
