What is mitovito?
mitovito is a line of 8 single-ingredient functional mushroom extract powders, each made from 100% mushroom fruiting body with no fillers, binders, or added ingredients. Add one gram to any hot drink and it becomes part of your day.
How do I use it?
Add one gram, about one level scoop, into any hot drink (coffee, tea, matcha, oat milk, or hot water) and stir for 10 seconds. The powder dissolves completely, no clumps, no aftertaste.
Does it change the taste of my coffee or tea?
No. The hot-water extract dissolves invisibly and doesn't alter the taste of your drink. A few varieties, like DEFENSE (Chaga), are often described as making coffee taste slightly richer.
Can I mix more than one variety in the same drink?
Yes. Many customers combine FOCUS and ENERGY in their morning coffee, or SERENITY and GLOW in an evening drink. There's no limit on how many varieties you use together.
How long does one pouch last?
Each pouch contains 20 one-gram servings. Used once a day, one pouch lasts about 20 days if taken daily. The Ritual Kit's 6 pouches and The Vault's 8 pouches are sized around that rhythm.
What time of day should I take each variety?
FOCUS, ENERGY, DEFENSE, and BALANCE are typically used in the morning. SERENITY and GLOW are typically used in the evening. METABOLIC and VITALITY work well with a meal.

The basics of using mitovito day to day.
What does "fruiting body" mean, and why does it matter?
The fruiting body is the mushroom itself, the part most people picture when they think of a mushroom. Many products on the market instead use mycelium grown on rice, which is mostly rice starch by the time it's harvested. mitovito is 100% fruiting body extract, with none of the grain substrate.
What are polysaccharides, and why does ≥30% matter?
Polysaccharides, specifically beta-glucans, are one of the key compound groups studied in functional mushrooms. mitovito extracts contain ≥30% polysaccharides (≥300mg per gram), and because we use pure fruiting body, that figure reflects actual mushroom compounds, not rice starch counted toward the total.
What does "hot-water extracted" mean?
It's the traditional method of drawing bioactive compounds out of the mushroom using hot water, the same principle as brewing tea. It preserves beta-glucans and other water-soluble compounds without harsh solvents.
Is mitovito a supplement?
No. mitovito is sold as a food ingredient, not a supplement, drug, or natural health product. It's not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Is mitovito vegan?
Yes. All 8 mitovito varieties are vegan, with nothing derived from animals at any stage.
Is mitovito free from common allergens?
Yes. mitovito products contain no gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, eggs, or shellfish. They're also non-GMO, with no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.
Are the same compounds present in every variety?
No, each variety has its own species-specific compounds: hericenones in Lion's Mane, cordycepin in Cordyceps, ganoderic acids in Reishi, betulinic acid in Chaga, PSK in Turkey Tail, and glucuronoxylomannans in Tremella. That's why mitovito is sold as 8 separate single-ingredient extracts rather than one blended formula. See our full comparison for details on each.

Who should check with a doctor before using mitovito?
If you're pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a health condition, check with a healthcare provider before adding any new ingredient to your routine, including mitovito.
What is the small packet inside my pouch?
Each pouch contains a small silica gel packet. Do not eat it. It absorbs moisture to keep your mushroom powder fresh, standard practice for dried, powdered goods. It's safe to leave in the pouch. If accidentally ingested, contact a physician or Poison Control.
How should I store my pouches?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Reseal the pouch after each use, and for best quality, use within 90 days of opening.
Can I take more than one gram a day?
One gram per variety per day is the amount mitovito is designed around. If you'd like to use more than one variety, that's fine, just keep each to its own one-gram serving rather than doubling up on a single one.

How long does shipping take?

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and method.
Will I owe customs or import fees?
For orders shipped to the United States, duties vary by state and follow standard customs procedures. For orders shipped to Canada, our products currently ship from outside the country, so Canadian customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees are the customer's responsibility, collected directly by the carrier at delivery, not included in your order total, and not something we can estimate in advance. This will change once we complete direct fulfillment from a US warehouse.
